Voltage to Depart From Chaos EC, leaf Falls Back In Action
Rush B Media has learned from multiple sources close to Chaos EC that Logan "Voltage" Long will be departing the team in the incoming future due to personal reasons. A source tells Rush B Media that the player was given an opportunity outside of esports that was too promising to turn away. To replace Voltage, Nathan "leaf" Orf will come back to the starting lineup. Leaf had been out of action for the past few weeks as he was negotiating with Cloud9 on a potential spot in the North American organization's VALORANT roster. Dust2.us initially reported the move on May 12, 2020, however talks, thought to just be a minor formality, have now broken down for unknown reasons. Voltage has not been participating in recent matches or practice, with leaf the one standing in at the moment. Rush B Media knows that Chaos EC also looked at all available options before going forward with leaf.
This move comes weeks after leaf has previously officially joined Chaos on trial, providing NA with it's own "-seized, +seized" moment. In addition, the team recently added Erick "Xeppaa" Back following the departures of Cameron "cam" Kern and Hunter "SicK" Mims. The fifth player to the team, who recently joined the squad alongside stalwarts Joshua "steel" Nissan and Anthony "Vanity" Malaspina was Jonathan "Jonji" Carey, who will be the team for the foreseeable future.
Rush B Media has reached out to a representative of Choas EC who has not responded at the time of publication.
Chaos EC will now continue with;
Joshua "steel" Nissan
Anthony "vanity" Malaspina
Nathan "leaf" Orf
Erick "Xeppaa" Bach
Jonathan "Jonji" Carey
Matthew "mCe" Elmore (Coach)
