TSM project stalls as vanity is set to join Chaos EC
Two weeks ago it was reported that TSM was in preliminary discussions with a roster that would be led by Anthony ‘vanity’ Malaspina. Sources close to Rush B Media can confirm that the talks have stalled and vanity will be joining the Chaos EC lineup on a full-time basis.
The talks had been limited to a statement of intent, questions regarding the formation of the team, and then waiting to hear back from TSM if they would be offered a contract. At the time of the original report, TSM informed the team that a final decision regarding their acquisition would be made within a week. Sources close to the situation tell Rush B Media that the seven-day period passed and the players received no response.
As the team continued to toy with the idea of playing for TSM, there was the realization that some of the personalities within the team would not mesh well together. Hunter ‘SicK’ Mims, recognizing that it might not be in his best interest to play in the team, chose to pursue other opportunities - leaving the team with just four members. During this process, Chaos EC reached out to vanity at the same time and offered him a spot on the team in place of Maxim ‘wippie’ Shepelev. Wippie was unable to move to the team house in Arizona, leaving the team to look for a new fifth.
With vanity joining Chaos, the other four members are looking for new homes. They were all seen in the WINNERS League semi-finals in a match between Swole Patrol and Singularity. Swole Patrol, which had Yassine ‘Subroza’ Taoufik and Matthew ‘WARDELL’ Yu edged out SicK and Kaleb ‘moose’ Jayne in a three-map series. Moose is on eUnited’s bench while they look for alternatives to the Canadian rifler. Sources say that while Gage ‘Infinite’ Green is currently a stand-in, the team hopes to sign him on full-time.
SicK, Subroza and WARDELL are back to square one, as the free agents will have to once again look for an organization to call home. With the TSM project seemingly put on hold, it appears the players will be looking for their own opportunities.
