Team Imperial in discussions with Reedy’s team; Kickstarting their re-entry in Call of Duty

Report by George ‘GCG’ Geddes

British esports organisation Imperial are in discussions with Reedy’s team: ‘CuDi Boyz’ to re-enter Call of Duty after a disappointing spell in the WWII season with their previous roster. Imperial made their mark on the Call of Duty scene back in 2010 with the team of: “ShAnE”, “United”, “Quality” & “AudioboY” coming sixth place in the first EGL (Named ECL at the time) event in Liverpool. Imperial have also had some of the best UK players to ever play the franchise including “ShAne”, “Swanny”, “Madcat”, “Joshh” and even the caster “Momo” have played under the organisation.

Since then, Imperial have had mixed results with their Call of Duty rosters. Their highest placing as an organisation in recent years was in the CWL National Circuit for the WWII season, where the team of “Niall”, “Creza”, “Nolson” & “Zerg” came first in the event.

Ever since the formulation of the Imperial lineups, they have always nurtured British talent in order to ensure they achieve success in their home country.

Imperial have also only recently came back into Call of Duty - after Modern Warfare 3 the organisation went silent, and pursued other endeavours in other esports.

Nonetheless, Imperial are back. According to our sources they are in discussions with ‘CuDi Boyz’ to re-enter Call of Duty for the 2019 Black ops 4 season.

This team have been playing the EU 2ks and have been performing well; placing top 4 and top 16 respectively.

Team Imperial will also be playing at CWL Vegas which is the first Call of Duty LAN event. This will be from December 7th-9th.

It is unknown at this time as to whether they could be moving to North America to follow in the footsteps of the other EU teams moving over such as Red Reserve & Team Reciprocity.
