According to sources, Yassine 'Subroza' Taoufik will be eUniteds fifth for the upcoming IEM Sydney qualifiers. He will be filling in for Pujan 'FNS' Mehta who announced yesterday that he had decided to leave eUnited following a rough 7-8th place finish at the Americas minor. Stating that “a collective result of bad performances from us as well as not making the major which hurt a lot.” led to his decision to leave. It was true that things weren’t going well within the team, with sources telling Rush B Media that they were potentially going to make changes with the roster following the Minor. While FNS made the decision to leave, the team was not opposed to his departure and it is being described as being the best solution for both parties.

As of right now, Subroza is just being used for the qualifier. However, that could change depending on how their next few games go. Before turning to the ex-Ghost player eUnited was rumored to be in talks with former member Skyler 'Relyks' Weaver. The 24 year old was tossed around to several different positions towards the later part of 2018 while playing on eUnited before finally being released by the NA org on January 10th of this year. As mentioned above, eUnited are not signing Yassine as a permanent fifth, and sources have told us that they are still trialing several other players. Their current goal is to recruit a permanent member no later then the start of ESL Pro League Season 9. Giving themselves roughly 3 months to complete their roster.

As for FNS, it has been a rough 12 or so months for the Canadian, being tossed around to multiple top NA teams since the disbandment of CLG’s male CS:GO division. Spending no more than a few months in both compLexity and Cloud9 before finding temporary housing with eUnited. He has yet again found himself without a roster to try and lead, leaving the future of his career in question. Like Pujan mentioned in his Instagram post, he is not done competing however at this time we are not aware of any offers going his way.

As of right now, the eUnited roster will be as follows:

Kaleb 'moose' Jayne

Michael 'dapr' Gulino

Will 'dazzLe' Loafman

Austin 'Cooper-' Abadir

Yassine 'Subroza' Taoufik

We reached out to a representative of eUnited who declined to comment.
