MIBR Rumored to Shift Target to felps as Potential Fifth

In initial reports from VPEsports, it was rumored that either Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe or Kaike “kscerato” Cerato would be joining MIBR as their fifth member. However, according to sources close to Rush B Media, as well as a report by Draft5, there is now a third, more likely, candidate in João “felps” Vasconcellos. This possible move comes after their negotiations with Furia for the aforementioned kscerato reportedly fell through. If felps joins the team he will be replacing Tarik “tarik” Celik, who is supposedly to be placed on MIBR’s bench. The major winning player has also been rumored to have received offers from the likes of compLexity. This, along with the fact that compLexity holds a spot at the IEM Katowice Major via legend status, makes the rumors of his removal even more likely.

felps is no stranger to playing with the core three of MIBR, as he was apart of their roster under the SK Gaming banner from February of 2017 until October of that same year, accomplishing several 1st place LAN finishes under the command of Gabriel 'FalleN' Toledo. The 22 year old has spent the majority of 2018 with Não Tem Como before moving on to INTZ. If he does join MIBR, it will be his first dose of Tier 1 play since the Boston Major (excluding their short lived run in the ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals).

Since being removed from the SK Gaming lineup last year, felps has developed as a player and evolved his play style into one of much more unpredictability as well as maintained a superstar level of firepower. If he returns alongside fellow ex-SK Gaming, and later MIBR, member Epitacio “TACO” de Melo and major winning coach Wilton “zews” Prado, we could see a resurgence of the Brazilian super team lost in time. Maybe all it will take to bring back the team’s former glory is to revert the roster back to what it once was and take the time to fix the mistakes they made.

If the rumored MIBR moves go through, their new roster will be:

Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo Marcelo "coldzera" David Fernando "fer" Alvarenga Epitácio "TACO" de Melo João "felps" Vasconcellos

Wilton "zews" Prado (coach)
