High Coast bring in Bew on loan

High Coast announced today that they have signed a familiar face to their new team, bringing in Brandon “bew” Roberts on loan from Yeah. bew originally joined New England Whalers and the current High Coast core all the way back in October of 2019, staying with the team for nearly a year before leaving to join Yeah. However, as Yeah’s roster dissolved at the end of 2020 with players leaving to pursue other opportunities, bew was left without a team heading into the new year.

The core of High Coast originally replaced bew with Brendan ‘Bwills’ Williams, but when the youngster left to join Triumph last November they needed a new fifth once again. It was initially speculated that Justin ‘FaNg’ Coakley would be joining the lineup after he filled in for the team at DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 North America. However, the Canadian elected to join Extra Salt instead and was no longer an option for High Coast.

High Coast brought bew back as a stand-in this past weekend for their debut tournament, the Mythic Winter Cup 2021. The team were able win the event with an impressive 2-0 defeat of Triumph in the grand finals and now the Swedish organization have announced that bew will be rejoining the team on a full time basis. High Coast will be competing in the DreamHack Open January 2021 North American Closed Qualifier and the ESEA 5v5 NA Winter Cash Cup #3 this weekend.

High Coast’s roster is now:

  • Jonathan ‘djay’ Dallal
  • Josh ‘PwnAlone’ Pigue
  • Ben ‘ben1337’ Smith
  • Ramal ‘Rampage’ Silva
  • Brandon ‘bew’ Roberts
  • Joseph ‘Muenster’ Lima (Coach)
